Their flagship, the Agitator, is a 42' custom bay-built fiberglass charter boat, powered by an 800hp engine with state-of-the-art equipment and electronics, heat and air conditioning, with the capacity to hold up to 36 passengers. Guests who choose to dock their boats at the marina overnight will enjoy Chesapeake Bay MD hotel guest privileges throughout the resort. Slips range from 30’x16’ to 80’x16’, and have electric, cable, wireless Internet and water hookup available. The Quarterdeck Marina Store is located on the shore, at the base of the dock and offers boating accessories, apparel, beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks, ice and light snacks.

River Rentals
We provide only the best kayaks and catamarans available, like Wilderness Systems and Hobie Mirage kayaks, Hobie Wave catamarans and Bending Branches paddles. We have beautiful white swan paddleboats for the kids and classic paddleboats for cruising around the river. For motorized boating, try our CraigCat that’s a boat just for two or our Triumph 170 DC that seats six. For large groups, you may need our Sweetwater pontoon boat that can entertain 10. No matter how you want to spend time on the river, we have something just right for you. Just follow the flags to the beach.

Blackwater Paddle and Pedal Adventures is located on the beach here at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort for the pleasure of our guests to enjoy the beautiful Choptank River and historic Dorchester County. BPPA offers guided bike, kayak and nature hiking tours for your enjoyment during your stay in Chesapeake Country. Local native guides offer you insight in to the ways and culture of their beautiful home. Experience our area’s natural treasures alongside them. These tours are geared for the novice hiker, paddler and cyclist. Tours are available Monday through Saturday and depart from the BPPA at the Hyatt beach twice daily at 9:00 a.m. and returns approximately by 10:30 a.m., and at 6:00 p.m. and return approximately by 7:00 p.m. Moonlight Paddle departs at 8:30 p.m. and returns 10:30 p.m.
Motorized Water Sports
We offer water sports and guided boat, bike & hike tours and offer half-day beach rentals for your company, organization or family to enjoy. Our stock includes jet boats, speed and pontoon boats and kneeboards and tubes for adventure watersports.
